Our services include custom deck design, installation, composite and wood deck construction, repairs, staining, and outdoor structure building. All services are subject to availability and scheduling.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for deck projects. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, material availability, or changes to project scope. Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work will be documented and require your approval before we proceed.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your project agreement. Typically:

• A deposit may be required to schedule work and order materials
• Progress payments may be requested for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon project completion and your satisfaction
• We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

We will work with you to schedule services at your convenience. Weather conditions may affect scheduling for outdoor projects. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover materials already purchased or reserved labor.

6. Property Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe and clear access to work areas. This includes securing pets, moving vehicles or obstacles, and ensuring our team can safely access all necessary areas. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property, but you should remove or secure valuable items in work areas. We maintain comprehensive liability insurance for your protection.

7. Permits and Compliance

We will obtain necessary permits for deck construction and major renovations as required by local building codes. Permit costs will be included in your project estimate. You are responsible for ensuring that any existing structures or property features comply with local regulations before we begin work.

8. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and offer a warranty on our installation services. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your project agreement. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers. Our warranty does not cover damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage and will work to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.

10. Intellectual Property

All custom designs, plans, and materials created by TOD Thousand Oaks Decks remain our intellectual property. You receive a license to use these designs for your specific project. We may photograph completed projects for marketing purposes with your permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about our services, please contact us directly so we can work to resolve the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will make reasonable efforts to address any problems. If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.
